Contents Insurance

Important: The landlord's insurance does NOT cover your personal belongings. We strongly recommend you arrange your own contents insurance before moving in.

Contents insurance typically covers:

  • Damage caused by fire, storm, flood, or theft
  • Accidental damage to your own belongings
  • Temporary accommodation if the property becomes uninhabitable
  • Liability protection if someone is injured in the home

Frequently Asked Questions

To apply for a rental property, visit the property listing on our website and click 'Apply Now', or request an application form at the open home inspection. Applications can be submitted online via our 1Form or Ignite portal. All adults who will be residing at the property must complete an application.

We require 100-point valid identification (e.g. passport, driver's licence), proof of income (payslips, bank statements or Centrelink statement), rental history (previous rental references or receipts), and employment details. Self-employed applicants should provide a recent tax return or accountant's letter.

We aim to process all applications within 1–2 business days of receiving a completed application with all supporting documents. We will contact you by phone or email to advise the outcome. Due to high demand, we are unable to provide individual updates during processing.

If your application is successful, you will need to sign a Residential Tenancy Agreement (lease), pay your bond (equivalent to 4 weeks' rent, lodged with the NT Bond Authority), and pay your first period of rent in advance. You will also need to complete and return the property condition report within 3 business days of moving in.
